This is the Virginia Writers Club's festive and fun year-end social event to network with fellow writers and guests, celebrate the achievements of our members who have been published in 2012, and to announce the winners of our annual Golden Nib Writing Contest.

We also have a special presentation of awards to members who have made significant contributions to the operation of our club. Brief, but essential to the business of running this organization, is our Board of Governors elections.

To add a dash of fun, we raffle gift baskets created and donated by our VWC Chapters to benefit our Education & Scholarship Fund. Culminating after the final bites of our delicious luncheon, is an address from a renowned keynote speaker.

This year, we are happy to welcome Dr. Andrew Kaufman, a Russian literature and language expert, and author of the book Understanding Tolstoy. Finally, we end the day with raffle winners' announced, book signings, and a renewed vision for writing success in the New Year.

This event is open to all VWC statewide members, Chapter members and their guests. Registration is limited due to space constraints, so registration before the deadline is advised. Cost: $40. Registration Deadline: October 22. All payments need to be received in advance via credit card at the VWC website or mailed with check by the deadline. Registration at the door is not available.
