Brad Parks

Brad Parks: Brad is a mystery novelist and recovering journalist. His first novel, Faces of the Gone, featuring the exploits of a sometimes-dashing investigative reporter, was published by St. Martin’s Press in December 2009. It landed on several prominent critics’ lists as being one of the year’s top mystery debuts and was lauded by Library Journal as “the most hilariously funny and deadly serious mystery debut since Janet Evanovich.” It has also been shortlisted for the prestigious Nero Award. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Brad spent a dozen years as a reporter for The Washington Post and The Newark Star-Ledger and is now a full-time novelist. His next book, Eyes of the Innocent, releases in February 2011. Brad is a typical journalist who can talk about everything and nothing at the same time, and at least half of what he says might not be true. But if you’d like to listen to him blather and (perhaps) prevaricate, call (646) 543-8686 (don’t let the Yankee area code fool you – Brad lives in Middlesex County) or email him.
