Sponsoring the Virginia Writers Club 2022 Symposium

The Virginia Writers Club (VWC), founded in 1918, is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the United States. Comprised of chapters throughout the Commonwealth, the Virginia Writers Club is dedicated to fostering the art, craft, business and advocacy of the literary arts.

In 2022 VWC will host its twelfth annual Navigating Your Writing Life: Reel in the Stories-Fishing for Writing Solutions live and in-person on August 6, 2022. All COVID safety protocols will be followed

This year’s keynote speaker will be Bradly Harper, Army Pathologist turned author, whose book, A Knife in the Fog, won the 2019 Killer Nashville Silver Falchion for Best Mystery and the Edgar for Best First Novel. 

Sponsoring the symposium is a fun and impactful way to promote literacy in the Commonwealth as well as offer the attendees information about goods, services, and opportunities for writers and those interested in writing.

Note the check needs to clear the VWC account prior to June 24th.

Bronze Level ($100):

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet given to all participants 
• ¼ page advertisement in the symposium booklet

Silver Level ($200): 

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet given to all participants
• ½ page advertisement in the Symposium booklet

Gold Level ($300+): 

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet given to all participants 
• Full-page advertisement in the Symposium booklet

Additional sponsorship opportunities include, but are not limited to: 

• Provision of door prizes
• Financial support to offset the symposium costs, such as sponsorship specific workshops

VWC is also open to additional suggestions for support that sponsors may suggest.

Half page: $50 

Whole page: $75
