BRW Members can bring a guest. Potential New BRW Members are welcome.

What: A Casual, Loosely-Planned Gathering to enjoy the Blue Ridge in autumn with other members. An idyllic setting for socializing, feasting, and writing and sharing.

Things to Bring:

J A food dish to share with others

J    Writing implements

J    A folding camp chair if you have one

J    Comfortable clothing for the day’s weather

Location: Mary Ellen Jantzi’s home,
 3751 Rockfish Road, Grottoes, VA 24441.

Directions: From Charlottesville, take I-64 to Exit 99 at the Afton/Rt. 250 sign. 

At the stop sign, turn left onto Route 250 West.

At the first big light in Waynesboro (N. Delphine Avenue-Route 340) take 340 North and drive about 10 miles.

When you pass Paine Run Road, prepare to turn left onto the next road, Patterson Mill Road.

Travel one mile west on Patterson Mill to Rockfish Road. At the stop sign turn left, and turn left again into the second driveway. Two white fences are at the entrance.
