Sponsoring the Virginia Writers Club 2023 Symposium

The Virginia Writers Club (VWC), founded in 1918, is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the United States. Comprised of chapters throughout the Commonwealth, the Virginia Writers Club is dedicated to fostering the art, craft, business and advocacy of the literary arts.

In 2023 VWC will host its thirteenth annual Living Your Writing Life: Sharing the Dream! live and in-person on August 5, 2023. 

This year’s keynote speaker will be Bishop O'Connell, author of the American Faerie Tale series, a consultant, writer, blogger, and lover of kilts and beer, as well as a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America.

Sponsoring the symposium is a fun and impactful way to promote literacy in the Commonwealth as well as offer the attendees information about goods, services, and opportunities for writers and those interested in writing.

Once you've completed your purchase, send your sponsorship or ad to Chuck Tabb at ctabb919@gmail.com by June 17th. Email him if you prefer to send a check as well. Note the check needs to clear the VWC account prior to June 24th.

Bronze Level ($100):

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet available online to all participants 
• ¼ page advertisement in the symposium booklet

Silver Level ($200): 

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet available online to all participants
• ½ page advertisement in the Symposium booklet

Gold Level ($300+): 

• Sponsor name/logo with link featured on the VWC Symposium website and Facebook
• Logo placement in the Symposium booklet available online to all participants 
• Full-page advertisement in the Symposium booklet

Additional sponsorship opportunities include, but are not limited to: 

• Provision of door prizes
• Financial support to offset the symposium costs, such as sponsorship specific workshops

VWC is also open to additional suggestions for support that sponsors may suggest.

Quarter page: $25

Half page: $50 

Whole page: $75

To sponsor or buy an ad for the event, order below by July 25. Sponsor and ad materials must be to Chuck by July 31 and must be in either jpg or png formats.
