Thanks to Bronwen for organizing a sparkling exhibit of Riverside's works at the annual Fredericksburg Independent Book Fair on Sept. 21.  Our September meeting featured work by the members of our Monday night critique group that meets at Books-a-Million.  Our October meeting will spotlight the annual Parade of Prose with special guest Cliff Garstang presenting his latest novel and organizing work sessions for attendees.  Admission is free and open to the public, as are all our meetings.  The first Saturday in November will see our branch of Young Virginia Writers participating in a big way at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library Conference, along with several of our mebers conducting workshops, including Jim and John Gaines on science fiction writing.  The following Saturday will be devoted to annual election of officers and a lively open reading.  The December meeting is our occasion for seasonal merriment at the Holiday Party.
