Bio
Lorraine Donohue Bonzelet, a retired engineer, is a picture book enthusiast, doodler, and mindful writer. She has a non-fiction article published in Boys' Quest magazine and several short stories published in Mindful Writers Retreat Anthologies. In 2017, Lorraine co-founded a weekly writing group at the Carroll County library in Maryland which is still going strong.
Lorraine and her husband moved to Smith Mountain Lake in 2024, fulfilling their longtime dream to live near water. Lorraine enjoys vacationing with her husband, daughters, family, and friends. When Lorraine is away, her two tabby cats throw wild hairball-hurling parties. With any spare time, Lorraine takes online classes, writes, draws, kayaks, hikes, meditates, journals, gardens, reads, daydreams... and plans the next vacation.
