The Muse Writers Center in Norfolk is Hampton Roads’ literary center. In our brand new facility, we offer creative writing classes and seminars for beginning, experienced, and professional writers—whether they be children, teens, or adults—house a resource center for area writers, and host readings, open mics, and special events. We never turn anyone away because of their financial situation, and we have provided tuition assistance and scholarships to hundreds of people. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The Muse is dedicated to broadening community awareness and support of the literary arts.
